Hundreds of beneficiaries take advantage of online services as celebrations continue in Budgam

The Digital J&K Week celebrations continued today for the second consecutive day in the Budgam district, with hundreds of beneficiaries taking advantage of the online services throughout the day. The room where Digi-Mela is held, all SDM and Tehsil headquarters, model CSCs, municipalities and relevant schools engaged participants in raising awareness of more than 200 online services launched by the government.

Program Officer (PO), ICDS Budgam, Irshad Ahmad distributed disability certificates to dozens of specially disabled people during Digi-Mela at Sheikh-ul-Alam Hall, where online service awareness was broadcast among hundreds of PRI and students.

The Digi-Mela is held following the “Digital J&K Week” celebrations taking place July 25-31 throughout the district. The week is celebrated for the benefit of the public and to increase transparency in the provision of services to the population.

Up to 202 online services have been connected to Rapid Assessment Services (RAS), which allows beneficiaries to assess services provided by departments. In the meantime, the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the government and Budgam district administration for providing online services calling them time-saving. , hassle-free and fast.

The Budgam district administration has called on the citizens of Budgam to join these celebrations to enjoy the online services and be aware of the services.
