DC Kupwara Launches Online Certificate Obtaining Services – India Education | Latest Education News | Global education news


KUPWARA: As directed by Lieutenant Governor J&K, to improve service delivery via digital mode, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara today launched 5 online services at the DC office here.

These online services include issuance of character certificate, income certificate, OBC / RBA / ALC certificate, EWS certificate and SC / ST certificate in all Tehsils of Kupwara district.

On this occasion, he was informed that residents of Kupwara district can now request these services online and that digitally signed certificates will be issued to them online. The service was designed and developed using NIC’s Service Plus framework. To enjoy the service, people can log into serviceonline.gov.in/jammu.

The DC after the launch of the program, said that these services can be used by individuals on a portal where they have to register and then fill out the respective application form along with all the required documents.

The portal also allows the applicant to check the online status of the application at any time and also upload digitally signed certificates.

The portal was designed and developed by NIC with the aim of improving transparency and efficiency by leading to the issuance of certificates within a limited timeframe.

DC thanked the District IT Manager, NIC and his team for ensuring the timely availability of online services.
