A 102-year-old restaurant business is being rebranded after changing from a family business to an employee-owned business.

MJ Kellner received a brand new Friday at a ceremony honoring Bill Kellner, the last of the original family. In addition to honoring him, the company unveiled its new brand, which features the tagline “exceeding all your catering needs.”

MJ Kellner President Dave Rikas said this was the first step for the newly renamed company.

“We look to the future with a fun and fresh new look while staying true to our core values ​​of exceptional customer service and quality products,” Rikas said. moving the business forward for current and future generations of customers and employees.

The company changed hands last year when Kellner sold the rest of its shares to the 96 employees and became chairman of the board.
