Business Services Company Reaches Conditional Agreement to Acquire InterTrust

Corporation Service Company (CSC) acquires InterTrust NV under a conditional agreement for approximately 1.8 billion euros. There can be no assurance that a transaction will be finalized. Further announcements will be made as appropriate.

Corporation Service Company was established in 1899 and is headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware, USA, and has 3,000 employees in 13 countries around the world. CSC claims to have more than 180,000 corporate clients, including 90% of the Fortune 500, as well as nearly 10,000 law firms and more than 3,000 financial institutions. CSC is a provider of digital business, legal, tax and branding services.

Intertrust is an international publicly traded trust and management company based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The company is best known for its fiduciary services, which include tax, fiduciary, business management and outsourcing processes. It is the largest fiduciary office in the Netherlands. The origins of Intertrust can be traced back to the incorporation of NV Trust Corporation Pierson, Heldring & Pierson in 1952.
