The Union Civil Service Commission (UPSC) issued a notification on Wednesday July 1 stating that the candidate for the 2020 Civil Service Preliminary Examination will have the option to change examination center. The decision was made because many candidates had asked the Commission to give the facility due to the disruption caused by the COVID-19 lockdown.
The option to change examination center will be available for the 2020 Indian Utilities and Forest Services 2020 Preliminary Examinations. Both exams are scheduled to take place on October 4, 2020 based on the revised schedule released by UPSC on October 5, 2020. June.
The possibility of changing the examination center for candidates for the civil service preliminary examination and IFS 2020 will be activated in two phases. The first phase will be active from July 7 to 13 and the second phase will be activated from July 20 to 24. The link will be activated on the official website, upsc.gov.in.
The Commission said that the request for a change of center will be considered on a first come, first served basis and that once a center’s capacity is reached, it will be frozen. In addition, candidates will also be able to withdraw their application from the exam, the link of which will be activated from August 1 to 8.
